2 Bar Blend
Two heavy hitters all mixed up into a single cup, this is the 2 Bar Blend. If coffee beans could sit above the 0 vac boost threshold these would be the beans! We roasted these two incredibly complimentary beans separately, but once cooled we tossed them into a big mixer to get them integrated evenly. The mix is a 30/70 split between our Ethiopia Guji Gigesa Shakiso Natural and our Guatemala Huehuetenango Washed.
Somehow these two regions so incredibly far from one another geographically work so well in the same cup, but we have theories: The washed Huehuetenango offers the deeper more three dimensional complexity with chocolatey cocoa notes while the Natural/dry Shakiso gives the sweeter brighter citric notes. We think its so important to try different blends from these single origin regions from different climates all around the world because you never know when you'll stumble upon something like the 2 Bar Blend.
